I feel like I'm writing for the first time after 8 weeks because I am!
How were Sept & October so far for you? Were you to ask me, I'd just say, 'Whew!'
The last issue was right before Eurobike. Since then, it's been a bit wild! I immediately made my way to the Czech border after the show for the Bohemian Border Bash Race (write up below) & days after that spent 10 days in the USA to see my kids & after some days back in Amsterdam then a quick bolt to Bonn for a Gravel Fondo and managed to get down to Belgium a week later for a shoot with Twotone's oldest clients, 2moso for Wahoo Benelux, Afterschokz & Dynamic Bike Care content.
Twotone's newsroom has also been buzzing with exciting updates from Ride Out & BBB, Litelok, Serial 1, Fara, Albion & SILCA. You can sign up for exclusive news now too,
Yesterday was a radical ride with my wife, Kristy from our ferry in Hull to Harrogate for the 10th annual Bespoked Uk Handmade Bicycle show. (clips from the 120km journey on our Bilenky tandem) More about this year's show below!
I'll pick back up the torch of weekly missives & really appreciate you taking the time to have a look through!

2021 is the 10th anniversary of Bespoked and I'm so stoked to be here! Give me a shout if you're in town for the show and peek the Twotone insta for coverage of the builds and other highlights through the weekend!
I'll be emceeing a panel with my friends Rob Quirk of Quirk Cycles in Conversation with Sébastien Klein of Brevet Cycles tomorrow at 12:30. Stop by for some rando & bikepacking stories!
p.s. I'll also be at the Philly Bike Expo next month too for the first time!
This vision misses the point.
Twotone clients, Fara Cycling, will be at Rouleur Live Nov 4-6. More about that soon!
Our office is also a co-working space and has been filling up! We're also now listed on Workaround. : )
Check it out!
Yesterday was our third episode on the Echobox Radio featuring my friend Jordan Miller as I was en route to Harrogate for the show. I'm also honored to report that we're the most listened to show currently on the air! That's wild!
Thank you, Kike for all your hard work on making this a success!
Episode 1 & 2 are on Mixcloud & #3 in 9 days : )
I'm a sucker for empathy links. Can't overstate it enough!
You always knew demonstrating empathy is positive for people, but new research demonstrates its importance for everything from innovation to retention.
Bas & I had a chance to write about our experiences at the first edition of the Bohemian Border Bash Race here, along with a beautiful gallery of photos from the 1,300-kilometer course by Nils Laengner. What an incredible week of my life to do this event!
I have a snack sack bar bag made by Neza Peterca. She repairs any kind of outdoor garments, upcycles bags jackets, and organizes Sisters in The Wild. Great to hear her catch up with Stefano!
In his latest body of work, my friend Sandy Carson looks at how the world began navigating the ‘new normal.’ Check it out!
Guy's 26th Telecast is available for your listening pleasure! It's a good one!
Also all music from all three Mechanics of Joy episodes are on Spotify too!
