I attended the 1st edition back in 2019 as it rose from the ashes of the Berliner Fahhradschau & wrote about it here in the newsletter and Stefano at Broomwagons interviewed me about it afterward.
I'm in Florida this week so I'm missing this year but Kike is heading there in my stead! He's got freshly printed special edition Twotone 'zines with him, so hit him up! Also check out the links below about the show.
This weekend is also the fabled Pathfinder Giro in Limburg for the 2nd time. Our colleague Bob will be attending and representing Twotone on the ride. I'll be hot on his heels however as I'm in Limburg next week with 2moso aka Wahoo Benelux for a shoot!
I'm skimping on the throught-provoking intro this week & trusting the solid stack of news herein will make you grin. ; )
thank you, as always, for reading & sharing this newsletter,

One of the highlights of this year's Kolektif is this ready-to-rip Drust build featuring an especially solid drivetrain built around the impressive Kindernay VII internally geared hub.
Berlin-based Konstantin Drust of Drust Cycles opted to incorporate a trail.camp/Lilienthal collaboration of a Kindernay VII rear hub and a SON front dynamo on a set of Lilienthal CoPro XC rims. The build also features bagfaceberlin bags. All of these brands share the trail.camp vision of bike parts and accessories "Made in Europe".

As the spring blooms in the Northern hemisphere after a long winter, Chater-Lea heads to beautiful Berlin for Kolektif.
Our friend Kike Molares from Twotone will be representing us there, carrying what he calls the 'mythical devices'.
If you're planning to be there, please be sure to connect with Kike (say Kick.eh) and have a chat!
Cybro, hailing from Bassano del Grappa, Italy, will also be exhibiting at this year's Kolektif. I first met them at Bespoked last year and their bikes are incredible and packed with some unique innovation.
The new Bespoked website is live and oh man is there a lot to check out!
Demand for both conventional and electric bicycles has soared during the pandemic, drastically increasing export orders and throwing the whole industry off balance.
Retail is alive & kicking in Holland! Very cool to see spandex slinging stalwarts, Maats, opening their second location in Utrecht! Proficiat to Rob, Joost, Janco & the extended Maats fam! See you soon!
My friend Lucas at Bikepacking dot com shared his Fairlight build in its final form. Always nice to see a SILCA Impero adorning the top-tube of such classy builds and has anyone else notice seeing more racks on adventure rigs recently? (more about that soon!)
