As you read this, I'm embarking the Silk Road Mountain Race.
It is a fixed route, unsupported, single-stage cycling race through the mountains of Kyrgyzstan of about ~1700 kilometers with 26,000m of climbing.
Watch my dot as I tackle this 2 week race: here.
As I'll be off the grid & in the mountains, the next issues of the newsletter will be curated by the Twotone team : )
As always thank you for reading,
Enjoy these issues?
🙏 Sharing is caring!
My friend Stefano at The Broom Wagon interviewed Max & me + our bud Bengt from Berlin too! Give it a listen to hear our answers to:
- who we are
- how we prepared for this insane race
- about our bikes
- what we're bringing with us
- what we're looking forward to
- and what we fear the most
Not the same routes we'll be doing these next two weeks but the same region. What an awesome ride.
I'll be journaling each night in my tent & doing a similar write-up for Cycling Tips in September : )
My favorite reason to go to Eindhoven is back in October!
Zebras know what's up.
MessageBird offers single API for customer comms across WhatsApp, WeChat, Messenger and more – TechCrunch

Sales & PR
You need to know your prospect, grab their attention with a snappy subject line and then write a message that convinces them to take some kind of action. So when you’ve spent hours/days/eons working on an award-winning email, it’s a real kick in the conversions when the results are meh.
How many types of sales closing methods do you know?
Drift is convinced this is the next big thing.
Seem like MessageBird above agrees.
What do you think?
When you're taking breaks from watching dots, check some grams.
Albeit sparse from racers, there will be coverage despite the remote setting.
