Tomorrow I'll bring my Moustache Dimanche to Berlin via an ICE train to join in the 3rd annual Fenderfest, then some off-the-grid riding in Spain & back to Berlin for Mini Bike Fest before returning to Amsterdam in time to head to Italy for BAM!
- Fenderfest 15-17 May | is a three-day gathering for fendered bicycle enthusiasts, custom builders, and connoisseurs of touring/randonneur bikes, hosted by Meerglas Cycles.

Camp Styrbjörn 21-25 May | Styrbjörn is a Swedish name, but can also be translated as handlebar bear. Many years ago, Staffan Widell of Ass Savers, made Friends of the Handlebar Bear backpatches & I was knighted at a Berliner Fahrradschau. Now in 2026, I'll finally earn that patch bestowed to me so long ago:
This year's camp will be a several-day adventure near Lleida, Spain. I'm looking forward to sleeping under the stars, hauling my bikes up rocks & spending time with homies new & old!
- The camp tradition goes back nearly a decade to 2017
- I'll be shooting film too, so expect these vibes
- Mini Bike Fest 30 May | Back to Berlin to judge Best Hack with Christoph from SOUR Bikes. I'm very stoked on this finale of the trip!
