Since July '15, Twotone's Newsletter, with its trademark rhyming subject lines, has been your gateway to the most interesting aspects of the cycling industry, featuring new & compelling ideas, and serving as a trusted community resource for more than 1,200 readers worldwide. Thank you for being part of it!

This was my first time back for the Rouleur show since 2017. Kike had attended a few times with Classified over the years, and this go 'round I was there Gravaa, Remco Tools & Quirk Cycles.

I shared my initial impression also last Friday on Linkedin:

  1. HOLY CRAP was it busy! Felt like a sick house party of all your favorite bike fam of passionate public, PROs, journos, & bike business veterans.
  2. Party is indeed the word. Some convos about planning, but mostly decompressing & commiserating about 2025 with industry colleagues. Great atmosphere with a positive outlook for the upcoming year. PMA!
  3. Rouleur Live really has become — or has been & I didn’t know — the must-attend end-of-year show! What I felt years ago was that the UK show was much more European, with people coming over from the USA as well.
  4. Holy crap! Put some acoustic paneling on the ceiling! The noise (and heat) made for a relatively steamy & high-decibel downside, but actually that added to the house party vibe, haha!

As the high-end cycling sector continues to show resilience amid wider market challenges and especially considering all the banter about Eurobike's efficacy, ability to survive, and the role of trade shows in the industry, the allure of Rouleur was clear, and I look forward to seeing even more of you there again next year!

Thank you for reading & have a good week,

Jon
